Email to the cloud
In 2018, KU began a multi-year project to transition our email system from local Exchange servers to Office 365. This initiative enables us to improve security, expand Office 365 services, and avoid the cost of replacing multiple Exchange servers. In addition, it frees up key personnel and provides more robust tools for eDiscovery and email hygiene. Completed: August 2020
Administrative & Business
HR 9.2 Upgrade
Our Human Resource Management system, HR Pay, requires a crucial update in the next year to ensure it stays compliant with federal regulations. This upgrade is challenging and complex due to the customizations used at KU, as well as the state and federal system integrations. This project was started in partnership with Human Resource Management. Completed: September 2021
